Well, the Holidays are nearly over, thank goodness, although the extra $$ we get as gifts from family is certainly helping the financial situation here. Things are tight, but that's nothing new. I've been working hard on my writing, chugging along wonderfully, but that doesn't pay the bills- at least not yet. Hopefully, I can change that before long.
Don't know what else to say, except that I talked to my mother and she said they have had two calves born recently. Mmm, veal... I'm still hoping to hear back from the guy who runs the jewelry store I've started doing work for- I could use the work. Water's a problem right now, with it shut off, and I really miss my hot showers. Trying to stay presentable is a nightmare. Not to mention the fact that all the water is cold now, since we have to get it by the jug, and there is no substitute for a faucet with the letter "H" on it....
